The Irish crooner presents his laid back take on a number of classic songs and pays tribute to the artists and songwriters who made them famous. The musicians praised by Doonican, who worked with some of them on his long-running BBC programme 'The Val Doonican Show', include Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby and Peggy Lee. The songs performed include 'Mississippi Mud', 'My Kind of Girl' and 'It's Been a Long, Long Time'.
